Internet explorer
Step 1 : In the Internet explorer menu goto
Tool>Internet Options
Step 2 : In the 'General' page click
on the 'Fonts..' button. You will get the Fonts dialogue. Select
'User Defined' in the 'Language script' list box. In the
'Web page font:' selection list, select the TSCu_Inaimathi
font you already have or just downloaded. In the 'Plain text font:'
if you can see the font Tscu_Arulmathi you need select it or else
leave the default font. Click on the 'OK' button'. Click on the 'Apply'
button to save all the changes.
Step 3 : Select View>Encoding in
the menu. Select User Defined. If 'User defined' is not available,
then select from the More> menu. Sometimes your web page will show
garbage when viewing web pages with TSC fonts. Go to this option again
and select the encoding as User Defined and refresh the page. After
you refresh your web page if you can see '¾Á¢ú ±ØòÐÚ ¬¾Ã×'in Tamil, well
done.
Netscape navigator
Step 1 : In the Netscape navigator
menu select the Preferences
Step 2 : Select the Appearance>Fonts
menu. In the 'For Encoding' select 'User Defined'. Variable With Font select
the TSC font you already have (Tscu_Inaimathi) or just now
download. If any of the TSC fonts are available in the 'Fixed With Font'
list box select it or leave it as it is. Select 'OK'
Step 3 : Select View>Character Set>User-Defined
in the browses menu. Sometimes your web page will show garbage when viewing
web pages with TSC fonts. Go to this option again and select the encoding
as 'User Defined' and refresh the page. Afer you refresh your web page
if you can see '¾Á¢ú ±ØòÐÚ ¬¾Ã×'in Tamil well done.
Outlook Express
Step 1 : Select Tools>Options from the Outlook
express menu
Step 2 : In the 'Font settings' list box
select 'User Defined'. In the 'Proportional font' select any TSC font (Tscu_Inamathi)
or the font you just downloaded. If you can find a TSC (Tscu_Arulmathi)
font in the 'Fixed-width font' select it or leave it as it is. Click the
'Set as Default' button. Click the 'OK' button and then the 'Apply' button
to save the changes. Close Outlook express and reopen it.
