that we have arranged for "GRAND PONGAL
CELEBRATION"

We are expecting a crowd of over 1000 people
from
various parts of UAE.
The Program has two parts,
1. The release of a book, collection of
Short stories
which were published in leading Tamil Weeklies
viz., Anantha
Vikatan, Kumudam, Kalki, Bhagya, Devi,
Idayam Pesukirathu,
etc., written by one of our prominent Members
Mr.Kasali.
This book will be released by Leading Film
Diretor
cum Actor Mr.Cheran.
2. A Grand Musical Nite by Leading and Famous
Tamil
Film Music Director Sangeetha Chakravarthi
Kalaimamani Mr.Chandrabose.
The singers and orchestras of this program
will be
from the local population with Mr.Chandrabose
in the lead and will
be rendering songs. Also we have
arranged something very
innovative for the first time in the Gulf
where Mr.Chandrabose will be
composing a song written by the local
Writers Live on the Stage.

UAE TamilNetters Organisation as a non-profit
organization involved mainly in educating
and involving the Tamil speaking public in various spheres of Tamil oriented
activities viz.
societal, literary, cultural etc.
We have a membership of more than 200 highly
motivated
individuals driven towards fulfilling our
ambitions
and aspirations in the betterment of Tamil
speaking public. Most of our members are highly qualified professionals,
which gives us an edge in carrying out our tasks in a systematic and professional
manner.
We are proud to state that we are part of
a worldwide
group (TamilNetters), who span across all
the five
continents of this globe. Many of these
members are highly
qualified University Professors, successful
Medical Professionals,
leading Engineers and Technocrats, Poets
and IT professionals settled in USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand,
Gulf, Indian
subcontinent etc. All of these thousands
and thousands of individuals are driven towards the betterment of Tamil
Society. That should put into perspective, our role and capabilities.
Out of our many achievements, we have, with
the help
of our Chennai based TamilNetters wing,
instituted a
scholarship in the Coimbatore Agricultural
University in memory of some girls, who were victims of some political
riots, that took place
a few years ago. And this scholarship was
the first of its kind to be
ever agreed and accepted by the University.
Such is our success and
influence when it comes to serving the
public.
We have an online magazine,named "Kaanal"
which is
totally non-revenue based (i.e. ad-free)
catering to the Tamil
diaspora, the world over. We are proud
to say that, it is a magazine
absolutely without any cinema related news,
which is a rarity
these days.
